Radical Catalyst is a queer feminist art and literary journal committed to igniting change through the fusion of art, writing, and critical thought. We elevate voices that challenge the status quo, offering a platform for bold social and political critiques, feminist and queer theory, and compelling commentary on the urgent issues of our time. Through a diverse array of creative expressions—from art and poetry to opinion essays and short stories—we aim to fuel the transformative energy needed to shape a more just and equitable world.

At the intersection of art, literature, politics, & social justice.

Issue 1.2

Read Issue 1.2 of Radical Catalyst, a collection of unapologetic creative works centered on the theme of Autonomy. This issue presents a wide range of interpretations as contributors explore topics such as the threat of ICE in our communities, sexual and bodily autonomy, medical autonomy, AI, and more. At the same time, the works speak to each other. Multiple pieces reference the legend of La Llorona, a nonfiction and a fiction piece both examine the bodily autonomy of statues, and many contributors confront gender-based violence through their own lived experiences.
